The amount of absurd comments about the shooting are incredible: biggest mass murders in US history (not true, 9/11 terror attack and others have been bigger); blame guns; society's hate of gays, etc. I was told that on Dr. Drew had some extremely stupid comments today by Lisa somebody.

Sometimes qualified as “modern” history. (Reminds me of the silliness with racehorse Citation and his “modern” longest US win streak, whatever modern means.)
So, what us the biggest shooting? And biggest mass murder period (not counting 9/11, as that was beyond anything at all and very coordinated involving many people, not just 1 perp)? I could look up but sometimes Wiki gets confusing....
I heard someone on the news ranting that the LGBTQ community is used to hate crimes, that this slaughter wasn't out of the ordinary but really just more of the same. Pure unadulterated BS. Pure.
