Levin was bashing Trump, claiming that he and Cruz thought of the Muslim ban idea first.

What a loser. Levin has a bad habit of taking credit for things that others said before him, and then in the next breath, whining about others stealing from him without giving him credit.

Rand Paul came up with the ban on Muslim before Cruz and Levin came up with it. Rand Paul said ban Muslim refugees from certain states. It got no play until Trump said ban all Muslims.

Trump is a negotiator who knows you always start asking for more than you expect to get. In making his statement of banning all Muslims, Trump knew it would put congress on the spot, weaken both Obama and Hillary and give him wall to wall coverage once again with no money spent and in the end end could at least lead to banning Muslim refugees from terrorist states.

Levin’s strategy of only asking for the least you will take, is a failing strategy. Same as Levin negotiating with China by telling China that tarrifs are off the table. Levin saying there will never be tarrifs is the same as Boehner and McConnell saying they will never shut the gov’nt down. You just lost the negotiation before you even started.

I read this thread every day, but I do not listen to his broadcasts anymore.
