That was the "first hit", as you well know. There is plenty of material available from multiple sources regarding German weapons development during WWII. If you were genuinely interested, you could find them yourself. Even PBS has televised documentaries regarding this. Some are now active on Amazon Prime streaming.

Why does this seem so far fetched to you? The Germans did also build the first ICBM during WWII. They also built TV guided anti-ship missiles that almost turned the tide of the Anzio landing.

Just because you don't know about something doesn't mean it didn't happen. Dig in, you can find a lot. The best material, however, comes in printed books found in a library rather than on the web. Ever been to a library?

Yes, it is a big building with books in it.

Not to be mistaken for the place where they serve you snobby coffee or the place where the books have lots of pictures in them of bat people and mutants. I'm sure you have mistaken that kind of place for a library.
