Given the confusion of what happened, it might appear to be more than one shooter. But given the confined space and the shooter was wearing a “suicide belt” with multiple gun magazines loaded with bullets, it’s not completely out of the question that he could have killed all those people—and a number of people were not killed by bullets but trampled to death.
But according to the FBI, there was no suicide belt. So where does this initial info come from?
