Please freepmail me if you hear back with any interest in going forward with this, as sometimes forum answers can get lost in the shuffle of debate and discussion (sometimes I push some buttons, as you probably notice :-), but mail is less likely to escape my notice.
Miss Grimmie definitely was a phenomenon, and yet it seemed that she was little heard of except in some small circles and that strikes me as a crying shame. I don’t know if you have heard of a chap name of Matthew West, who has been touring the USA with an evangelical band. Mr. West seems to be a good example of an alternative style of band evangelization that points up our greatest need, not even that we behave badly (though we do) but that we are rotten inside and in need of love, grace and mercy and that Jesus will, not might, keep on supplying all that is needed for us to meet His demand. Accepting this results in being immersed in a regeneration and cleansing process. It seems to me that Miss Grimmie went down a similar road.
It seems so unfair that the devil managed to get her removed from the earth, but we shouldn’t let her message be removed too. She lives on in modern media. And it warns people that yes, there is a spiritual battle going on and to become Christian means being drafted into God’s side of it.
