I think the Brexit vote will be a bellwether for Trump’s success.
We’ve seen this situation a few times before and can kinda guess the outcome. Everything looks promising, but then the last minute the polls switch and the opposition just loses out.
I think the "Trump Effect" is operating as a sort of political toggle switch, here and abroad. Trump's ascendancy affects overseas politics, and possibly the reverse will have an effect here too.
