It is TRUE! God shall not be mocked and man shall reap what he sows.
I understand in today’s PC world you can’t just say what you want, especially if you are a politician.
Jesus said “I am the way, the TRUTH, and the life....”
Does Jesus take “TRUTH” seriously? Since he IS truth, I would think so.
So the scripture of course is true and it does apply to those who mock God and sin against Him as in the ABOMINATION of homosexuality and murder.
It’s not about what happened to them in this world, as in “they had it coming” or “it serves them right”, but what will happen to them in the NEXT world, and for all eternity.
They brought God’s judgement on themselves not knowing that this would be the day that it was too late to repent or they just didn’t care or believe.......Now they do!
But so do supposed gospel aficionados bring such consequences upon themselves, by making it sound like it is all about themselves when the topic becomes hot.
And guess what... you too are in the set of recipients of that policy from God.
The only safe tack to take is the one that confesses [in whatever terms] that we all are worms but God has provided a way to save us all from wriggling around in hell. The preacher can’t sound superior. This counts me, too. It isn’t always easy.
Amen, yesterday was the lesson, today is the gift of GRACE, tomorrow has no guarantee.
On a side observation, if this quote was tweeted last week, would the ones who are so vocal today, paid any attention to the message?
