The Daily Mail is a champion in that regard. I overlook their obsession with sideboobs and Kardashians because they report stories of import to Americans with a large spoonful of truth.

The gossip crap keeps them afloat so I am fine with this.. Obviously this gossip part of the DM has a humongous female readership.

As far as US politics I see the DM as non-politically correct and as straight shooters. Rush Limbaugh has complimented them more than a few time times and they even got in touch with him to say thanks.

DM is like the “Radio Free Europe” of the US, giving us the news our government doesn’t want us to know.

That is interesting. DM must monitor our airwaves pretty closely and have extensive contacts here. They very often have the story written and posted online long before anyone in our media does. When there is breaking news on Drudge, I am no longer shocked when the link takes me to the Daily Mail! It shows the sad state to which our national media has devolved.
