Hillary is the Democrat’s equivalent of a “Yellow Dog.” Yellow Dog Democrat are Democrat voters who would “vote for a yellow dog before they would vote for any Republican.”
I believe the point of Ms. is to neutralize marital status as is so with men, all being Mr. whether they are single or not. Ms. is actually very convenient in business these days as no one knows whether Joanne Smith is married or not so how to address mail to her? I realize it must have started as a feminist gimmick but it is actually helpful at this point. It’s dumb to need to ask a woman if she is married to know what to call her, in 2016.
See the Fox link on this thread. Originals had the following; it was portion-marked as Confidential by the sender —
“(C) Purpose of Call: to offer condolences on the passing of President Mukharika and congratulate President Banda on her recent swearing in.”
Has anyone asked: How did this get on an unclassified network?
I don’t think Obama as being from the USA can be UN SECGEN.
Yaelle, you really know how to use your superior intellect and persuasive communication skills to win me over to your point of view.
No fair!
LOL
Wasted ink, apparently.
Hillary won’t be off the hook until Comey has a presser and states there was no crime or mishandling if data by Hillary or her staff. But with Obama’s endorsement even this may not be believed.

That is when he will ‘reclaim’ his Kenyan status.
It (supposedly) worked for College so he will just say he had his fingers crossed the last 8 years so all the lies he told ‘didn’t count’
Like the old song “Rock Island Line” where the engineer is asked what he is carrying and he proceeds to rattle off all sorts of livestock and is given a ‘pass’ through the toll gate.
When safely cleared and he gets his head of steam up he declares...
“I fooled you! I Fooled You!
I got pig iron
I got pig iron
I got ALL pig iron..
Your memory is faulty. “Ms.” was introduced by feminists as an equalizer with “Mr.” for men, when it was not deemed relevant to specify the marital status of a woman.
Classified material does not have to be marked classified for it to be classified. As a technical editor with a Top Secret security clearance I was often handed Top Secret material generated by engineers and scientists that was unmarked (one of my jobs was to mark it), but of which I was well aware of its classified nature. Even if what Clinton said was true in every case(that material was unmarked), which I don’t believe for a moment, it was absolutely no excuse for mishandling it.
My memory isn't faulty at all. I well remember the tenor of the times. It was the beginning of the feminist era, when "I am Woman - hear me roar!", was the theme of the day.
The appellation, Ms, was invented to elevate the status of those proudly unmarried feministas who'd grown past the debutante 'Miss' phase of their lives.
Suddenly, they were no longer 'old maids', but Fiercely Independent Women!, who didn't need a man to define themselves, or their place in the world.
agreed. tough to expect everyone living under those rules to continue to follow along if they aren’t enforced when violated
You’ve got it all right except for the age link. Young females and some married women adopted “Ms.” as well. It was not meant to add another marker for unmarried women, but to remove such markers altogether.
As you wish, but I was there, and remember it quite differently.
So was I — and apparently you do.
Where have you been for the last 45 years?
Ms. was invented to replace Miss and Mrs.
“Ms. was invented to replace Miss and Mrs.”
Sorry, but you’re mistaken about the origin of the term.
I’m willing to disagree, because we’ve got much more serious things to talk about today.
“Versus Trump And The Angry White Men...”
Who was it who used to say, “That would make a great name for a rock group” or something similar?
“Versus Trump And The Angry White Men...”
That would make a great name for a rock band.
That stamp indicates it was classified in 2016. I am not sure that email is making your case.
