There was a lot of funny business going on there at the “rubbing elbows with Hitler” level. And some people that you think would know better, didn’t know better. Some of the gays that he officially hated, were in on his level of power, for example.

However, if anyone should know, surely this prof should know, that there is so much B.S. getting slung around, that it’s going to take a pretty jolly high level of proof to affirm it. “The Jews might have done XXX” is not going to fly.

And the 6 million was deduced from censuses. These people were around, a Holocaust comes, and poof now we can’t account for them any more. Did they teleport to Alaska and live there as Eskimos today? I doubt it.

He may be cherry-picking a couple of obscure facts and spinning lies from them:

1. Reinhard Heydrich, a very high-ranking Nazi and principal architect of the Holocaust, may - repeat - may have had a Jewish ancestor, possibly a grandmother, and
2. Adolf Eichmann, another architect of the Holocaust, was able to speak both Hebrew and Yiddish, at least to some extent.
