This will be the Dem meme for the campaign. Trump is a racist and is too dangerous to have access to the nuclear codes.

“Racist” is quickly losing its original meaning, and has come to be applied inappropriately so often, it soon loses its power altogether. When it is applied to persons of Northern European origin only, and other xenophobic acts by non-whites are ignored or excused on the basis of “fairness”, then the term itself is xenophobic and unworthy of discourse.

Judge Curiel, were he a competent and even remotely free of bias, would have sent this case to summary judgment long ago. As a civil case, it is essentially dead letter, as the original plaintiff demolished her suit, and was removed, because of earlier statements on record that she spoke glowingly of Trump U. Her veracity was called into question, and no other plaintiff mounted an argument even remotely on the same level.

Exactly, and he needs to get out ahead of this and go on the offensive. This is the only meme that's had any traction, and they are otherwise desperate. I would not, however, fall into the trap about racism. I would dismiss that with something along the lines of:

“Racist? That all they got? The same old race card the democrats and their friends in the press always pull out? Pleeeaaasssee! First, Mexico is not a race. It's a sovereign country and our neighbor, and it also has diversity in its population - although probably not as much as we do. My comments about judge Curiel, upon which I continue to stand, were predicated on his expressed and demonstrated ideology and how that ideology might influence his ability to fairly adjudicate a case involving a person, me, who doesn't agree with his ideology.

He has aligned himself, publicly, with groups that don't want us to secure our own southern border, and I am steadfast in my defense of our right to maintain our borders and our sovereignty - just like Mexico has a right to the immigration policies and border enforcement that they choose as a sovereign nation. And by the way, Mexico's southern border security and immigration policy is much tougher than ours. It's clearly legitimate for me to be concerned about getting a fair shake from someone who opposes my commitment to ensure that people immigrate here legally - protecting America's right to sovereignty and the safety of our proudly diverse citizens.

There are many, many, many of Mexican heritage, either by birth, second generation, third generation, or whatever the case, who are among are most patriotic and exemplary citizens. Over a half-million Latinos, including 350,000 Mexican-Americans served our nation in WWII. Over 170,000 Hispanics served in Vietnam, and over 3000 died there. I love them, as Americans, and I honor their contributions to this great and diverse nation. Those who are still with us, their children, and their grandchildren deserve the great America they fought for, and that is what we are fighting for. To have those without honor, including those who have handled American secrets with disdain and carelessness, to attempt to derail those efforts by waving a false, inappropriate, and destructive flag of racism where there is none is reckless at best.”

I would bet that those who work for Trump represent a much broader and diverse group than those who work for Hillary, or Bill, or pretty much any of the Democrat hierarchy. That should be researched and used as well.
