I bet it’s gorgeous. When it was time to upgrade to a flat screen TV, Mrs. Slim found a TV cabinet made out of black walnut that the TV rises out of by motor. When not watching we don’t have to look at a blank screen. Cost more than the TV though.
Roger loved working with wood. He was an old timer who refused to take what he was worth. He cut and aged the wood for over a year. Had to have spent hours on the actual building. To me it is priceless. Both because of the tree and as a memory of a true gentleman farmer
