One of the biggest reasons Donald Trump is considered to be a long shot to win the presidency is the diversity of the country.
As Joe Scarborough of MSNBC put it, “There are not enough white voters in America for Donald Trump to win while getting routed among minorities.”
But a growing body of evidence suggests that there is still a path, albeit a narrow one, for Mr. Trump to win without gains among nonwhite voters.
New analysis by The Upshot shows that millions more white, older working-class voters went to the polls in 2012 than was found by exit polls on Election Day. This raises the prospect that Mr. Trump has a larger pool of potential voters than generally believed.
The wider path may help explain why Mr. Trump is competitive in early general election surveys against Hillary Clinton. And it calls into question the prevailing demographic explanation of recent elections, which held that Barack Obama did very poorly among whites and won only because young and minority voters turned out in record numbers. This story line led Republicans to conclude that they had maximized their support from white voters and needed to reach out to Hispanics to win in 2016.

We have spoken about this.
White people still make up about 70-72 percent of voters. If whites voted as a block, the way minorities are urged to do, we could win without a single black, Hispanic or Asian vote. I saw a guy discussing this on TV a few weeks ago, he acknowledged that Trump could possibly win with very few minority votes, but then he was wailing about how that just wouldn’t be right, and he should even attempt to do that.
And since Hill is not a negro, there will be fewer negros come out to vote, and the percentage of negro votes that trump gets is less and less important.
Every White male 18 and over better get to the polls and vote this time or they will have no future in this country. It is the wet dream of every slice of the Democrat voting base to eradicate White men, so get off the sofa and desk chair, register and VOTE. It really may be your last shot at making a difference.

I am an ardent Trump supporter. I have 4 sons who are not. The difference may be at the root of “I am a fighter to the end” and the men may see Trump’s ways of attack are too low on the pole. One is an attorney, one is an engineer, one is a writer and one is a self made accomplished success at anything he does. They are all more solid down to earth men, and they do not like his brash and unsophisticated way of attacks. They want more educated attacks. They don’t disagree with all I believe.. just go about it more adult. I don’t know who they will vote for but it won’t be for hillary. I do have some influence, so I’m hoping they will ‘hold nose’ and vote Trump. I see more and more those who like Trump’s fight but are turned off by the media’s lies and their biased way of reporting anything “Trump”, and by Trump himself when he calls names and sounds irresponsibly teen age. He isn’t.. but they are closed minded and the media sinks into their heads, whether they are listening or not.
The Democrats are the real gutter fighters, but they have the advantage of the press covering up for them at all times.
All things being equal I might prefer a more educated, intellectual line of attack.
The fact is that the Democrat Party turned our national politics into a back-alley knife brawl when they decided to embrace Saul Alinsky and his tactics in the early 1970’s. They have been running roughshod over us ever since....a true case of bringing boxing gloves to a gunfight.
Whenever Trump says something that makes me cringe I tell myself “The Democrats’ started it. He’s just playing by the rules they’ve already adopted.”
This can’t possibly be. All the white folks now be dead or dying, whereas all the folks of other colors live forever. We know dis be so cuz the media done said it.
Trump needs “American voters”. He’ll win those easily. If Hillary can convince voters they are black-american, latino-american, female-american, asian-american, environmental-americans, and even white-american rather than just American she’ll win.
If Trump convinces enough voters that we are all American then he wins.
It should be easier for Trump. Making America great for everyone is a pretty simple sell. Hillary has to remember what oppression every group she panders to is facing and make sure she doesn’t over-hype the solution for one group that hurts another. She wants to make sure latino-americans hear “open borders” because she thinks they want more illegals. But hope black-americans only hear “more jobs/hire wages for minorities” and don’t connect the dots with illegals doing the opposite.
If minorities were outnumbering whites, then wouldn’t they not be minorities anymore?
According to the CIA Factbook, almost 80% of the nation is white... although it states that “white” includes Hispanic. Even if Hispanic were in it’s own group, I’d assume you are looking at 50-60% whiter than white bread people in this country.
Yep! That’s why I am for Trump. And my sons know that.. they would like a more adult Trump, doing the fight. Mccain and Romney were not fighters.. they were too weak, besides being more on the side of obama than they were of the people. The white men I know are not shrinkers.. they are wanting a man who can stop the other side cold with a fight that is smart and above those on the left.
I commented on white men and Trump... this is what I see among the ones I know. Society has taken to saying things on the computer that is low and mean... the younger generation may be used to that... There are still those who would like a civil way of fighting this battle against all that comes into play. Anyone with the guts to fight against them can do so by putting them on the defensive without name calling. It just takes a person who will do what has to be done and not shrink. Trump has shown he can handle that.
On Nov election day, I hope all those white men out there will see what is in play and vote for the one who can change our disaster into hope and renew our land.
