I thought it was odd at the time, that it was right after the TWA 800 crash, that they started requiring us to show ID at airports. I always wondered if there was some connection.
As an aside to this tragedy, according to Wiki, the TWA plane seen in the movie “9 to 5” is the same one that is the subject of this thread.
