Here are the notable races from CA:

CA-1 Doug LaMalfa’s poor showing surprised people, I don’t know what caused it. But he should be safe.

CA-3 I think that John Garamandi has overstayed his welcome, having been in public office since the 70’s. I don’t know if his opponent is strong.

CA-7 This will be the hottest race likely. Both candidates have problems, Ami Bera’s father pleaded guilty to election fraud, while Scott Jones has been damaged by charge of sexual harassment in the Sheriff’s office by his subordinates, in which the plaintiffs won over $3 million.

CD-10 Jeff Denham faces a foe with some name ID, as Michael Eggman’s sister is a local state Senator.

CD-16 Jim Costa may be another politico who’s overstayed his welcome. He’s held elective office since 1978. Here’s to hoping that Trump has coattails there.

CD-24 The GOP was relying on state Rep. Khatchik Achadjian, who has a local following going back to his days as San Luis Obispo Supervisor, even though some conservatives don’t like him. Will they write off the race now?

CA-36 Raul Ruiz is still a local hero, he got glowing press when he saved the life of an airline passenger who was having a heart attack. Will Jeff Stone be able to duplicate his victory for state Senate in 2014?

Been crazy busy all day. Has Hillary or Bernie been declared winner in CA yet? Or are they still counting? Thanks...
