With the exception of "caucus" Maine, Trump won pretty much every single county in the entire Northeast. It was a dominating performance that we rarely see in presidential politics.
I think this exchange between Trump and Cruz on Jan 14 sealed the doom of the political career of Ted Cruz.
Cruz's pandering to Iowa farmers by taking a cheap shot at New Yorkers utterly destroyed him in the Northeast. I don't think Cruz got out of single digits in NH, VT, MA, CT, RI, NY, PA, MD, VA, DE and now NJ.
It was a major, major blunder.
