Voting report from New Jersey (me):
Turnout is light.
I was the 2nd person to vote R at 7:30am, my husband was first about 6:50am.
Polls opened at 6am.
I asked them how they combat voter fraud, you didn’t asked me for ID. (Not required here, just wanted to bust them.) They looked at me like I was nuts. Just waited for an answer - we compare signatures.
Then, how are the votes tallied? Are they on the back of the machine? Answer: they are in a cartridge they take out of the machine, can’t be removed until 8pm. Then they take it to City Hall where a report is run, and the votes are then reported to the county.
