and then Trump said in a questioning tone- PP?
or he said- PPP?
(I don’t remember solidly which he said, but I’m leaning towards PP)
and then he said- you mean PP. (Planned Parenthood)
or he said- you mean TPP. (Trans Pacific Partnership)
(again, I don’t remember solidly which he said, but I’m leaning PP)
The context of Trump’s conversation lent itself to the person in the audience shouting PPP, meaning to say TPP, and Trump in his rapid fire think-speech pattern likely thought he heard PP, or PPP, but the first sounds out of his mouth were PP, and I believe Trump meant to correct the person in the audience by saying TPP, but only PP came out.
This all happened in a window of about two seconds.
It’s all a nothing burger but fun to ruminate over, as it conveys a deep understanding of Trump’s nuances by his supporters that have no doubt, watched dozens of his speeches, both at rallies, and formal policy events, and I suppose it fair to include myself as being one of these Trumpster types. ;O)
My curiosity has gotten the better of me, so I think I’ll watch the whole thing over, to nail down the finer points.

Well- this AZ heat has gotten the best of me, so I petitioned an old friend, that owns a rustic resort, high up in the Sierra mountains, for a seasonal job, and got a nearly instantaneous reply in the “you’re hired” vernacular.
I’ll travel to CA, passing near Fresno, then turn to a northwest direction, taking a paved road to it’s end on the western flank of the Sierras. Time permitting, and while near Fresno, I ought to strongly consider paying a visit to the boss of FR. ;O) I could make a donation in person. ;O) ;O)
I stayed at this resort in 2013, and traded volunteer work for a small pull behind trailer to live in, and all my meals, which were the same as what the staff ate, for 17, to say the least, very interesting days.
I had been hiking the Pacific Crest Trail, backpacking, and decided to take the detour 5 miles off the trail, to a resort so I could resupply, and- have a cold beer at the same time, to wet my bone dry whistle.
I became the head dishwasher and raised the bar for anyone that followed. Uncle Sam was kind enough to train me with a vigorous stint on KP duties, many moons ago, that served me quite well during my brief tenure at Vermilion Valley Resort, located on the once scenic shores of Thomas Edison Lake.
Respectfully disagreeing with Mr. Trump, but there has been a noticeable drop in seasonal precipitation in the Sierras, rendering many lakes, mere mud beds, now- many, with only ponds in the middle of them. Edison Lake is kind of like that, but- last winter brought much better weather as far as precipitation goes, so the lake, while not to capacity, is rejuvenated substantially, permitting the resort to resume using their pontoon boat to ferry hikers across the lake, something that hasn’t been done since the mid-summer of 2012.
Thanks to the modern marvels of today’s technology, I’ll be able to stay in touch with the Trump family, and will be sure to return to AZ, in time to vote for Mr Donald J. Trump, for President, of these United States of America. MAGA! Woot! Woot!
