Top Republican officials and donors are increasingly worried about the threat Donald Trump's attack on a judge's Mexican heritage could pose to their party's chances in November -- and about the GOP's ability to win Latino votes for many elections to come.
Trump is under fire for repeatedly accusing U.S. District Judge Gonzalo Curiel, who is overseeing a lawsuit involving Trump University, of bias because of his Mexican heritage. Those concerns intensified Sunday after Trump said he would have the same concerns about the impartiality of a Muslim judge.

Unfortunately, the GOP establishment's leaders are more concerned with trying to outdo the Democrats in a "minority" panderfest than they are with addressing the concerns of their own (supposed) constituents, especially in border states.
Me to GOP Stop alienating voters.
Trump to GOP (what should be said): we won, our party now, shut up, get on board, or go p@#$ off.
I’ll complain that the GOP is alienating Latinos when I start hearing complaints that the Dems are alienating Christians and the middle class. Until then, don’t bother.
What they are failing to mention is the LaRaza relationship this judge has!
me to GOP; stop alienating Americans.
Quote:
“What they are failing to mention is the LaRaza relationship this judge has!”
NO ONE in the Media including Fox is mentioning any La Raza connection. Either its not true or there is a deliberate cover-up by the national Media.
These Professional Politicians in the GOP/RNC need to stop trying to control..
This is a different day, a different Convention coming up and we VOTERS are sending a message to the GOP/RNC, LOUD AND CLEAR...
HEAR US ROAR LIKE A LION, or your organizations will be political HISTORY..
Amen, Sister!
The GOP establishment accepts liberal talking points at face value. Mitt Romney thinks that the only reason he lost in 2012 is that he didn't pander to Mexicans hard enough.
Trump's been attacking the judge's racist political affiliation (La Raza, "The Race"), not his Mexican heritage. Big difference.
If a judge had a connection to the KKK, would it be "in bad taste" for Hillary or Obama to mention it? No? If not, then why isn't bringing up this judge's racial agenda and prejudices fair game? (I think we both know what the answer is)
Trump is keeping the University crap alive by constantly talking about it, he should STFU, and concentrate on the real issues, you know JOBS, TRADE., THE BORDER.
Yet another propganda intiative by CNN.
“You better stop talkin mean stuff about us, or or or we’ll get real mad and do something mean!!”
Just the usual gangsta thug hustle.
The LA RAZA aspect of this IS EXACTLY what this is about, however you WOULD NOT expect the MSM to report this correctly now would you???
The media is not mentioning a word about this Judge...and they will not mention him...because not one of them media folks did an investigation on this radical Judge’s outside political & pro Illegal Immgrant support & activities. Thes Judge should be immediately removed by himself, from this case, or, be thrown off the case!!! Trump is right 100%. Fear not, folks, the truth about this america hating Obama appointed Judge will soon surface...and, as usual, the Obama/Clinton, lie telling media, including Megyn Kelly & FNC...will ahve broken egg, all over their lie telling, biased faces!!! DJT....will see to that!!!
And Trump isn’t reporting it either. Not that there is evidence it has influenced the judge’s rulings thus far. But if he were a normal defendant he and his lawyers would be in serious trouble for calling out the judge as biased for being Mexican.
It’s not “alienating” to point out that the judge overseeing the legal case against you is a card-carrying member of LaRaza.
.....Oh GOPe, Mr. Trump won the frontrunner status, DEAL WITH IT.
