Went fishing yesterday,got a sunburn and soaked in 4-6 foot seas.We caught ten nice schoolies.
Nice catching.. Those filets will taste the same as a 30 pounder
I learned something I should have already known. One guy with us who was filleting the fish skinned them with a knife instead of just hand pulling the skin off. Hand pulling leaves a lot of white residue that does not taste good and is really hard to get off the fillet.
Also we never touched the fillet with fresh water,only salt. Fresh water washed fillets totally change the flavor, texture and color of the fillet.
