He was and probably still is a fool who believed that Islam isn’t significantly different than Christianity. It was a common belief among the neocons that he surrounded himself with. They imagined that they could reinvent the culture of the Middle East by killing a few dictators and implementing democracy. Natan Sharansky’s book full of democracy worship was a big influence on him.
Well the problem with that is, a muzzie "democracy" would elect "kill the infidel" leadership.
We should either stick with the secular dictators, who quell the jihadis, or test fire some of our....uh....tacks.
