I can't envision Trump courting or winning any La Razans.
Dickerson, and the other jourolists, are instructed to pursue the r@cist angle.
Trump counters showing Dickerson does not understand common sense.
Dickerson is tied to his meme, cannot stray from the r@cist angle.
The kooky journolists present themselves as “stuck on stupid”
And then there were the great fighters like Sugar Ray Robinson, Willie Pep, Tony Zale, et. al. My great uncle fought the likes of Jimmy Wilde and Pete Herman.
Ska-rew 'em!
We don't want anything to do with them, other than seeing their taillights as they head back to Mexico.
All going fairly calm and well.
Got two people checking on me daily.
Got someone to get me if I get arrested, take care of dogs.
Am still very scared but fighting back.
;)
“Well the problem with that is, a muzzie “democracy” would elect “kill the infidel” leadership.”
There you go, with common sense and stuff.. you’d never have made it as a neocon intellectual.
That’s because I’m an Old-school-ocon.
Even Martin Luther King Jr. took a side. When Cassius Clay joined the Black Muslims, he said, he became a champion of racial segregation and that is what we are fighting against. I think perhaps Cassius should spend more time proving his boxing skill and do less talking.
Thanks for that post. Saw one of Kings family members on Fox the other day touting how Ali learned from Dr. King. Obviously she forgot this critical comment.
But this gentle man would not pull punches when he set himself against Ali. The war of words between the two titans began in biting earnest more than a year before their battle in the ring. Patterson condemned Ali’s membership in the Nation of Islam, an organization that preached the superiority of Black Muslims and advocated the separation of the races. Patterson clarified his views at length in an essay entitled I Want to Destroy Clay, written with Milton Gross, for the October 19, 1964 issue of Sports Illustrated. Insisting on calling Ali by his old name, he wrote that Clay is so young and has been so misled by the wrong people that he doesn’t appreciate how far we have come and how much harm he has done by joining the Black Muslims. He might as well have joined the Ku Klux Klan. Patterson, in contrast, believed in the integration of blacks into what was then exclusively white society, and he supported the NAACP’s efforts to open American society up to the nation’s most marginalized community. He took the differences between them seriously enough that he believed beating Ali would be his contribution to civil rights.
Another great insight into an athletic competitor who saw beyond the skin, and sought to end that distinction.
Most courses, seminars, workshops I take wrap up with a course content and professor evaluation.
If you flunked the exam, your not going forward. You can repeat the course.
If the prof is a loser, Trump U needs to know.
Trumps facts remain strong. After the original plantiff is removed from the suit, why does her lawsuit proceed??
Makes real good sense.
Patterson had the peek-a-boo style taking blow on his arms, but he used the jab to good effect. Going back further to the days of “Gentleman Jim” Corbett, Gene Tunney, and Billy Conn, all of whom were superb technicians and used the jab a lot. Ali did not invent the jab for heavyweights.
And then there were the great fighters like Sugar Ray Robinson, Willie Pep, Tony Zale, et. al. My great uncle fought the likes of Jimmy Wilde and Pete Herman.
Very educational commentary. Sad todays journalists/commentators don’t take the time. Instead they use whatever they can to glorify if it fits their meme.
Congrats on you great uncle....
What can you say. He is the ultimate loser. Messed traffic up down here in S. Fla. as well.Good luck on your trip should be a good one.
Newt on Full Measure commented on the disruption in the GOP.
Right off the bat:
He said it’s not so much a disruption of the party, but more of a difference of opinion with 80 to 90% of the Republican voters, vs about the 5% in Washington.
In the end, Washington will lose.
I tried to hide that one so no one would see but is see you found that in the archives....deep deep in the archives...
I think this is a new one since Drudge is really grabbing onto it but I’m not sure.
IMO Ali was not that bright and was used by some nefarious people. Once he had Parkinson's and lost his ability to speak, his minders created a "new" Ali that burnished his image as a civil rights leader and humanitarian. His wife, Lonnie, acted as his interpreter, seemingly able to know what Ali would have said using a sign like a wink or a nod. It was a sad ending for someone so athletically gifted.
That was Rock who fell in but he’s used to cool water....
