No doubt, but what Putin SAYS and what Putin actually does are two different things. Russia AIN'T the same and the middle east has LOTS of petroleum and natural gas to buy whatever they need. THEY don't need Putin.
IMHO Putin wants to be the Czar of Russia...delusions of grandeur.
