And make no mistake, this election is about the survival of the country that Donald Trump has promised to make great again. Obama, Hillary Clinton and their far-left allies have increased the tempo of their assaults on constitutional liberty and the external threats to our national security and domestic tranquility have grown ever greater.
Why then, in the face of the indisputable threats facing our country, would mature men and women who purport to be leaders of the Republican Party and the conservative movement do anything that strengthens Hillary Clinton, that gives her even one more vote?
I find it very strange that many of the same individuals who decry Donald Trumps deviations from conservative orthodoxy were quick to try to explain away the Romney familys support for Planned Parenthood and other decidedly anti-conservative organizations and institutions.
And I find it stranger still that many of the Republicans and alleged conservatives who huddle over their smartphones tweeting outrage over Trumps kneecapping of his various primary opponents were on strict radio silence when Romney did much the same thing to Newt Gingrich.

I reject your premise.
I have never been for Hillary, Even when Trump was donating his Money to her.
You can do that, but that won't falsify it.
Define "real Republican", please.
Simple math.
If I vote for Trump - Trump 1, Hillary 0
If I vote for Hillary - Trump 0, Hillary 1
If I vote for neither - Trump 0, Hillary 0
In 1 instance above, Hillary gets a vote. In the other 2 instances, she doesn’t. Pretty simple stuff. ‘1’ does not equal ‘0’.
The headline seemed to indicate that if you are ‘#NeverTrump’, you are actually ‘#4Hillary’. Hashtag politics. Shallow...simple...and wrong...
You're right Defiant - Viguerie 'gets it' ...
Actually, you are right. There are three choices. Trump, Hillary or irrationality. The third choice leads back to the second, but it is a choice.
You said it better than I.
Not voting when you could advances the ball for Hillary, or allows her to advance the ball. But, fret not, you will have retained your presumed purity even as America becomes a third world hell hole.
A number of nevertrumpers have shown themselves today. It is scary that such lunacy continues unabated. Luckily, they are a fringe, and Trump will grow the party to an extent that they will not be missed. I only wish that there were a way that they could be denied the benefit that will come from a Trump Presidency, that they would have to pay for their stupidity and opposition, but that’s the way it is with all free riders. They get the benefit without any of the work.
And don’t forget the Supreme Court will be in play. . .hitlery choosing nominees and the gutless republicans doing what they do (cave), we are lost, and the Second Amendment will be the first to be lost.
NeverTrumps take their moral stand against Trump and our rights, our freedoms will die.
The math is more like:
If I vote for Trump - Trump 1, Hillary 0
If I vote for Hillary - Trump 0, Hillary 1
If I vote for neither - Trump 0, Hillary 1 uncontested vote
I'm not even convinced Hillary is a choice we get to make - somebody else is doing that.
I voted Cruz in our primary. HOWEVER, now I will walk
barefoot over rough gravel to get to the polls in Nov.
& vote TRUMP.
Even if Trump does a lousy job; he will have to stretch to
reach the depths to which Hussein Obama has stooped & to
which Hitler-y will stoop to further Communize the U.S.
We need to encourage them to join Bill Kristol’s crazy third party runner... then we’ll be washed of them.
The point isn’t necessarily about who is voted for or not voting at all.
The point is that the #NeverTrump adherents are very vocal, though irrational and in some cases accomplished liars, and thus could turn some people off (LIV) from voting for Trump.
That would result in less votes for Trump even if the mindless followers don’t vote for Hillary either.
We all can learn from our mistakes, but it’s better not to make them in the first place.
That is a whole different story, but nice deflection.
Good one-liner, but you’re for her now.
Hasn't the whole "If you're not for x, then you must be for y." routine been done to death already?
