"Imagine people lined up to enter a Trump rally being threatened by these protestors in front of media cameras, all together singing We Shall Overcome."

While I understand the sentiment, that approach only worked with people possessing a functioning moral compass. These animals, on the other hand, have no conscience and are nothing more than deeply evil sociopaths. They can't be reasoned with or persuaded.

This out of control lawlessness had better be cracked down on quickly by authorities or people ARE going to justifiably begin fighting back. I watched this and couldn't help but think how I would have reacted in a similar situation. If it were me, there would be at least a few of these degenerates not going home that night, legal consequences be damned.

I agree with that, but if they are confronted by a unified force rather than individuals (which are easy targets), they will hold back. Strength in numbers and all that. This is the technique that the agitators deploy.

Just keep in mind that the legal system determines whether use of force is legally justified. The legal system is hostile to conservative principles. I'd lay 80/20 odds that the courts would reject a claim of self defense in this sort of situation. The person who initiates use of force will get off, and the use of force in self defense will be prosecuted as though it was NOT justified.

The fact that a person is justified in use of force is irrelevant to the legal system. It'll cost you ten to twenty grand to get your case in front of a jury.
