The ACLU has been long known to be split between screaming liberals and libertarians of principle even if fanciful.
One might be able to reason with the latter. Driving the libertarians out will remove all remaining restraint from the ACLU and it really will go so cuckoo that it falls of its own madness.
Don’t forget that it was the ACLU who egged on the LesBean couple in Oregon to destroy the Christian bakers who wouldn’t “celebrate” their wedding.
