I agree. We’re seeing the chameleon effect of corrupt Washington cartel members who are likely willing to say anything to keep their jobs, particularly since it’s an election year.
As mentioned in related threads, corrupt lawmakers have relatively clean voting records probably because they let federal officials outside the legislative branch get away with stealing legislative branch powers to do lawmakers’ dirty, unconstitutional work for them.

#NeverTrump is not a winning strategy for ANY Republican. There are no other viable candidates that may be put up at this late date. Even Gary Johnson, Libertarian candidate, is not much of a potential alternative, because A) he is not all that much of an exemplary Libertarian; and B) libertarians are NOT conservatives.
