This trial balloon will fail. Some others we might see in the days ahead : "It depends on the definition of 'violated'." "It depends on the definition of 'crime'." "It depends on the definition of 'definition'." "It was just email." (kind of like "it was just sex") "She did not have sexual relations with that email." "You must be a bigot if you think there is something wrong with sexual relations with email." "What difference does it make if a few emails were taken." "Republicans are starting another war on women. This time they obviously feel that women should not be allowed to use email or are too stupid to set up an email server." On any of her cronies shoving a hard drive in their sock when taking it from the national archives : "Oh, that . He/she is such an absent minded galloot. He/she is so brilliant that sometimes they forget what they are doing since they are always in a state of deep thought." THESE PEOPLE ARE DISGUSTING!!!!!

Imagine if Dick Cheney were in Hillary’s place...I’m sure the media would be just as...ummm...’understanding’.

Such strong delusions, that they believe their own lies. Funny how many liberals will use this source to defend Hillary.

Let that sink in for a minute
Clinton violated the law, but committed no crime. It works perfectly if you invert it, too!
"Clinton committed the crime, but violated no law."

Clintoons have a long history of word twisting and brain warping used to cover their corruption and crimes. Old Jedi mind tricks....

Fine. She violated the law. Dont allow her to be president. She doesnt have to hang from the gallows pole here, just take her off the damned ticket. I just can't imagine another 4 or 8 years of The Clinton Crime Family in the WH. Most voters are too young to remember it like we do. Thye even stole the china and silverware on their way out. (amongst other taxpayer owned items)

It was a slip.
The newsies have worked very hard NOT to say “law.”
She meant to say “Clinton violated the RULES, but didn’t break the law.”
The writer is in the dungeons even now.

I kid you not...I read an article on CNN's website just two days ago, and it literally asked, "she broke the rules, but did she break the law?"
Do you think anyone with a whiff of conservatism about them would get any such preferential treatment?

My take on this is that they wrote this purely for the quote value knowing the majority of Hillary! people will run with the second phrase of this statement and hoping that that is what sticks in the minds of the uninformed.

I think it’s because the Federal Record Act specifies no level of offense, or punishment.
They are ignoring the elephant in the room: the compromise of classified information. That does specify an offense and punishment.
That’s why the FBI is investigating, rather than the IG.
To: lowbridge
These are not the criminal acts you are looking for.
