Former GE CEO Jack Welch said Thursday the Obama administration's heavy focus on combating climate change is "radical behavior" that's holding back the economy.
"You get a reduced military," Welch said. "You get an economy that won't move. You get ozone regs that are wacky."

Isn’t that what it’s designed to do?
Energy is the life blood of an economy - artificially raise the price of energy - kill the economy.
Welch certainly waited long enough before saying anything.
Husssein is Weed Wacky.
Guess he wanted to see which way the wind was blowing before he stepped out on a limb.
So then Jack, why did you basically tolerate NBC’s journalists being Democrat hacks when you ran GE?

Yes, I believe so.
Not just his Climate Agenda. but everything of his or about him is Wacky.
Welch certainly waited long enough before saying anything.

A good point. He should have spoken up much earlier about Obama’s destructive craziness. Perhaps it would have encouraged others to speak up as well.
It proves that Welch is more concerned with his position and power than he is about the country. He’s proven himself to be a self serving POS and needs to be regarded as such in the future.
Jack Welch has been an Obama critic from the start, and Obama has publicly blasted him since 2012. Welch was even fired from Fortune Magazine for his Obama criticisms.
“Welch certainly waited long enough before saying anything.”
To you and the rest of the posters on this . . .
He’s been saying the same thing since basically Day One of this administration. As a money manager CNBC is on every morning. He’s probably been a guest on Squawk Box about a hundred times in the last 7 years and has NEVER failed to call out Obama.
Lots of other people like Welch have probably held their fire for too long, but now see their opportunity to slam the departing Obama for his destructive ways. Better late than never.
He’s just trying to suck up to Trump. You don’t need a weatherman to know which way the wind blows, you just need a Welch.
8 years of the great Obama recession.
Understand your point but Welch has been retired for a long time. He’s 80 years old now. Not sure how Trump would benefit his career or business interests. I would be interested to hear if you have any thoughts on this.
Probably being mistaken for Jeffrey Immelt.
Well I see why he did not say anything. A sane business person would not criticize anything this admin does because of their vindictiveness. GE would have faced audits, fines, investigations, etc.
