When I was in high school I could NOT WAIT for my drivers license. It meant some independence. When I graduated and went to college, I could NOT WAIT to move out, 1000 miles from my folks. I loved them, but wanted to be on my own.

There's NO WAY I'd have lived with my parents into my 20s.

I'm afraid the under-20s now just want to be taken care of, and it's going to come back on them big-time.

“I’m afraid the under-20s now just want to be taken care of, and it’s going to come back on them big-time. “

You are absolutely correct.

Bad Government policies have created perverse incentives that affect/direct behavior.

The underemployed/unemployed males living at home don’t have much of a dating life and thus not much hope of starting a family or becoming fathers.

I really feel sorry for them. The 20’s and 30’s go by very quickly. Its never to late just isn’t true for many things in life.

Females on the other hand can always have children and have the government pay the bills. This creates another different set of problems for society.

Especially when the parents die and the kids find there is nothing left and the house is a goner too.
