Really, Greece didn’t become the cradle of any sort of humanism until they had a huge, pointless civil war that ended in mutual destruction for Sparta and Athens. During that war, Socrates was put to death, and the government did its damnedest to silence the great satirist and poet Aristophanes. Only in defeat did Greeks become philosophers and humanists.

humanists not something i associate much with greece. philosophers, yes.

i was thinking that Greece and Israel have so many common interests and can help each other so much right now in today’s world....

for an insane idiot like this to shoot his mouth off so full of baseless hatred...... cannnot help Greece....or anyone for that matter

i guess the Greek financial crisis has closed their mental hospitals
