If God spares America, he owes Sodom and Gomorrah an apology.

If Jesus said that it would be more tolerable on Judgment Day for Sodom than for Capernaum, how much worse off are we than Capernaum?

Jesus took it all on the cross. God isn't mad at anyone. He's madly in love with people and wants to save them (John 3:16). God has committed to us the message of the grace of the gospel of Christ (Gal. 1:6) which is what saves people to the uttermost (Heb. 7:25).

As we see the world getting darker, God does not tell us to curse the darkness, but he is saying,

"Arise, shine; for your light is come, and the glory of the Lord is risen upon you. For, behold, the darkness covers the earth, and gross darkness the people: but the Lord arises upon you, and his glory is seen upon you. And the Gentiles come to your light, and kings to the brightness of your rising". Isaiah 60:1-3.

May we by God's grace be faithful to his calling and let His light shine through us so others, including sodomites, will come to His light and be saved, delivered, and set free.

Appropriate statement, sadly enough.
