The PGA Tour has been going to Doral, Florida, for 55 straight years. From 1962 until 2006, it visited for the Doral Open, and then in 2007, it began hosting the WGC-Cadillac Championship, which continued until this past year. Fifty-five straight years of PGA Tour golf in Doral.
Well, we might have seen professional golf there for the last time -- at least in the immediate future -- when Adam Scott defeated Rory McIlroy and others at Trump National in March. That's because the PGA Tour has decided to pull one of its marquee events out of the course near Miami and move it to Mexico City for a WGC event in 2017.

"It's a sad day for Miami, the United States and the game of golf, to have the PGA Tour consider moving the World Golf Championships, which has been hosted in Miami for the last 55 years, to Mexico. No different than Nabisco, Carrier and so many other American companies, the PGA Tour has put profit ahead of thousands of American jobs, millions of dollars in revenue for local communities and charities and the enjoyment of hundreds of thousands of fans who make the tournament an annual tradition. This decision only further embodies the very reason I am running for President of the United States."
PGA can shove it. Double time.
I agree with Trump on the issue.
Is there no pre-existing contract for the event?
The PGA is dead to me.
PGA can KMA.
It would be ‘funny’ if a PGA official went to Mexcio City and got themselves kidnapped, or maybe jailed while trying to ‘sink a putter’ in the wrong place.
Yea, I’d really love to fly to Mexico City to play in a golf tournament.
Flew into Mexico City once...never again.
Yes. The contract ended this year.
Hmmmn.
The source of nearly 30 million illegal aliens sucking the government’s teats ....
Dirty, smelly, crowded. And incredibly polluted. Yeah. Good place.
Perfect response by Trump.
My attitude is Let the backlash begin!
good, they will all get diarrhea.

Pyles of &^&^%%$$%&*&^$#@! PGA another anti-American NWO entity! FUPGA!
Let's find out who the sponsors are of this group, call or email them and let them know the whys and wherefores and go from there..
We have an army of Trump Supporters, and we have brought him this far, we can do this for Trump, after all he's doing for us, this is not much, but it will help to let him know Americans are not going to put up with this crap any longer...
Lets Roll People!!!
I assumed that must be the case. Let me guess, it was in the article, right?
Two words: Zi Ka
What would the PGA do if the Trump Organization sponsored the tournament?
That would get a replacement for Cadillac as sponsor because their contract expired after this year’s tournament.
It would also keep the event in Miami, and not make it move to Mexico.
BTW, the PGA announces the move to Mexico, but who is the new sponsor?
All professional sports has been corrupted by the federal government, and Tim Finchem, the tour player’s commissioner used to work for Jimmy Carter.
Yes, the pros have hated Miami for years (not Doral specifically) but Mexico City is far worse.
