My sympathies are with the ape.
ROTFLMBO.
If Jack freeking Hanna says they made the right call, THEY MADE THE RIGHT CALL!
This is insane!
I feel bad about the gorilla, but the zoo keepers had a very short time to make a decision and they needed to save the child.
What if the gorilla had hurt or killed the child? Then the zoo would probably be held responsible for not choosing the life of a child over the life of an animal.
Bunk. The creepy, weirdo animal worshiping misanthropists can pursue it, if they want to, though. The general response will be shutdowns of zoos for lack of business. Then, it will be back to Africa for the gorillas, so they can be hunted, bagged and feasted upon by the locals there.
And now we enter the politically correct persecution phase of the incident.
Still waiting for criminal charges to be filed against Planned Parenthood who has murdered MILLIONS of babies..this is getting RIDICULOUS I feel bad for the gorilla, the mother was a moron, but the child had to be saved..Jack Hanna said he was in 100 percent agreement with the zoo, and gee I thought the media cared about black children, this was a black child didnt his life matter?
See bush meat, next Ebola outbreak, all.
Cincinnati should call in Marilyn Mosby, she’ll indict the heck out of everyone, warranted or not and they’re not IMHO.

These are beasts, not a Disney Movie
As one person pointed out. Zoo’s go threw regular Code inspections so if they were following code..not the Zoo’s fault
Feigned outrage by TV educated naturalist experts with the goal to shut down all zoos, animal research, hunting, fishing, barnyards, ranches, and pony rides.

Can someone explain to me why this story is gaining so much attention?
The gorilla was trying to protect that child. NOBODY could have approached that boy with autism-causing vaccines, Common Core materials, queer indoctrination of any sort or any other kind of hurtful thing. For fifteen glorious minutes of his life, that boy was totally safe.
Someone needs to start offering animal self-defense classes. I have a neighbor, and a month ago a goose snuck in through thier doggie door. I guess the angry animal chased him around the house for almost an hour.
Fortunately his wife was able to lock herself into their bedroom and call 911 and the police finally showed up and shot it dead.
1. Where have the Democratic activists been in recent years when other children have gotten into animal exhibits at zoos?
Some of these children were either killed or seriously injured. But there was never much outrage or concern because a gorilla (our “cousin”) wasn’t shot and killed in those incidents.
(Regardless of what happened here, zoos maybe should rethink depending on adults to keep close watch on the kids in their care in the age of smartphones, and go for impenetrable exhibits.)
2. The animal rights’ extremists just want vengeance for that gorilla. They couldn’t care less about what actually happened, as long as they exert the power to “make someone pay for it.” It’s all about them.
Negligence charge might stick against the zoo - it shouldn’t be that easy for a child to breech security of a dangerous animal’s habitat. If they try to charge anyone for killing the ape, that should be laughed out of court (depends, as always, on the biases of the judge who ends up hearing the case - the Biblical command that judges be impartial has been destroyed by the politicalized rat courts).
The law never charged either the zoo or the mother of the child at the Pittsburgh Zoo a few years ago when a toddler fell into the enclosure of some wild dogs and the animals immediately mauled the boy to death. The zoo staff didn’t shoot at the animals in that case. The dogs were later transferred to another zoo. I repeat, no charges ever filed.
