Tax loopholes are not 'loopholes'...they are a part of the very complicated tax code. They are legal. They are ways to reduce Federal Income Taxes. Why? Because those who write Tax Law (Tax Codes) want them that way. If they did not want these 'loopholes', they would cease to exist.
