1988 was a barn-burner year for climate alarmists. Then-Sen. Al Gore’s steamy congressional hearing trumpeted a planet on fire, and the U.N. Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC) was created to produce pseudo-scientific evidence blaming it on unfair capitalist industrial prosperity-spawned CO2 emissions.
Canadian Environment Minister Christine Stewart explained the real cause for urgency. She told editors and reporters of the Calgary Herald, “No matter if the science of global warming is all phony . . . climate change [provides] the greatest opportunity to bring about justice and equality in the world.”
Stewart was wrong. Consequences of that phony science upon environmental and energy regulatory policies matter a great deal. So let’s consider some inconvenient facts.

Here is one of my favorite experiments. Fill a plastic bowel with water. Put it in the freezer and freeze the bowel of water. Take the frozen bowl of water out of the freezer and put it into a pan. After the ice in the bowl returns to liquid, measure how much water overflowed into the pan. Answer is none.
This proves that rising sea levels due to melting ice is b.s.
The tragedy is that liberals aren’t concerned about facts. With them it’s all about getting laid. They jump on whatever liberal bandwagon is trolling at the time in the hopes of peer acceptance and getting laid. The same reason morons became hippies in the 60s.
Seventy four years ago (1942) MGM produced a short TRAVELTALKS on Glacier and Waterton National Parks. In it they mentioned that the glaciers have been receding since the last ice age and would continue to do so, “And if there is NO CLIMATIC CHANGE, they will be gone in a thousand years.”
Weather and climate are two different things.

Climate Change Scam
When I was a kid(1970s) it was the next ice age.
That is another reason why I know its a scam.
Last winter was tremendously cold lots of snow in the NE.
This past winter was very mild, they almost had no snow in Buffalo to speak of!

Which they’re being forced to do because the island is getting smaller and smaller because of global warming.
A better (non-scientific) explanation to me is that the East Coast is SINKING due to a localized obesity epidemic!
All the “fat cats” live there and it is a “scientific fact” that the US is getting fatter! The “scientific” press tells us so on a regular basis.

FWIW, “sea level” is a constant all over, but land masses rise and fall as the mass of ice, e.g. in melting glaciers, over the land decreases and decreases. This is why sea level changes with respect to land may be different at different places in the world.

Which data sets do you trust? Ground or satellite? They don’t agree with each other.
For ground data, whom decides how the data is “adjusted” and why? Why is it adjusted?
As we had a middle ages warming period, along with a little ice age and constant climate change, how do you separate any natural changes from human activity? ...now consider statistical noise too.
Why do we have lots of different models if the science is “done”?
Why do none of the models correlate with actual temperatures?
What benefits might we see with increased CO2?
Is all the CO2 increases purely from human activities?
I’m sorry...I’m asking QUESTIONS!!! You’d think that’d be part of “science” or something! Not only does climate science not allow dissent but it can’t provide testable hypothesis’ either. It ISN’T equal to physics or chemistry, it is more analogous to medical science or soft-sciences.
And when the models don’t match reality, guess what, you’re models are WRONG!!!
Remember the hole in the ozone layer scare from the 1980’s? What happened to that?
They would counter with this experiment:
1. Place a couple of bricks in a 13x9 pan and place the pan on a cookie sheet (with an edge that will catch water)
2. Fill the pan with water up to the brim
3. Put ice cubes on the bricks (as many as will fit)
4. Allow the ice cubes to melt and see how much water ends up in the cookie sheet. (I’m sure some will)
Their theory is still BS (especially the anthropogenic part), but your experiment didn’t accurately model their BS theory.

The wiki page mentions the satellites used/using to study ocean topography: TOPEX/Poseidon, Jason 1, and Jason 2. But very recently the Jason 3 was launched.
We have a big fleet of satellites that stare at the earth and a second fleet that stares at the sun. Plus, numerous other nations have sats. The GOP is trying to cut funding/shut them down and is definitely trying to block the launch of the IceSat 2 in 2017.
The satellite that makes many mad is the Orbiting Carbon Observatory.
Easy steps to solve man-made global warming:
1) End all research and grants for it. After all, it’s “settled science” we don’t fund research to study if the earth is square.
2) End all political travel. This contributes to global warming. All conferences should be conducted via satellite meetings.
3) Air conditioning uses energy. Energy contributes to global warming. Cut off all AC to every government building until global warming is solved.
If these 3 simple steps were made into law, I bet within 60 days it would be announced that global warming has been solved and the threat is now over.
