Those people would not be holding those signs had it been one of their children .

The whole thing is obnoxious .
The zoo followed their emergency protocol when the gorilla refused to listen to the keeper and go back to it’s quarters.
You don’t tranquilize any wild animal when they are that close to a human because you never know how that animal is going to react .

People should leash their small children when going out to places like this because even if you watch them like hawks they can dart away in a split second .

It took a lot more than a split second for the kid to get away, the mother was pre-occupied with other things.
