The Pope Emeritus is starting to fade. I think he’s 89 and slowly nearing death.

Based on what? Mere age? Or had there been some actual incident to portray such weakness?

Per my initial post, this was said by his personal secretary. He sees him much more than others since he’s leading a non-public life. Terribly sad. I converted in part due to Pope B16.
