Did Hillary delete pertinent e-mails while subject to congressional investigation?
THE NYT REPORTED 3/27/15: Clinton’s review (and erasing?) of her emails did not occur when she was secretary of state ......or even shortly after she left office.
Last October, nearly two years after she left office, the State Department sent her a letter requesting all government records, like emails, she may have possessed. In response, she provided the State Department in December with about 30,000 printed emails that she said were government records. She has said that an additional 30,000 emails were personal.
It appears Clinton still has copies of the emails she deemed public records. Attached to Mr. Kendall’s letter was one sent to him by the State Department this week.
A letter from the under secretary of state for management, Patrick F. Kennedy, said that the department understood that she wanted to keep copies of those documents. Mr. Kennedy said that the agency had consulted with the National Archives, and that allowing her “access to the documents is in the public interest as it will promote informed discussion” as she responds to congressional and other inquiries.

......an article months ago mentioned the first server Hillary used was the one in their Chappaqua house for Slick/s use when he left the White House......against the advice of Slick/s people. At some point Hillary went to a server managed by an outside company. Pagliano probably had some involvement in the migration if not sole responsibility.
Hillary obviously had to keep her pay-to-play Foundation business off government computers. Fortunately whether it was Pagliano or someone else, the file deletion/wipe was less than professional.
What’s going to happen to Sid Blumenthal? Not a govt employee, Sid was employed by the Cilnton Foundation and had side business interests.....but Sid had clasified info almost verbatim (as confirmed by the NSA). Brian Pagliano is the one most folks are talking about as running her server, but there was someone else, too ..... Morris got the info from a footnote in the IG’s report. I don’t see this guy on any of the lists .... JW depositions, FBI ‘talking to’ (although I’m guessing they have - if the IG knows, the FBI knows).

A personal aide to former President Bill Clinton with no security clearance maintained Hillary Clinton’s private email account and server — greatly jeopardizing national security, political strategist Dick Morris told Newsmax TV on Thursday.
The aide, Justin Cooper, served the Clinton Foundation while working for a private consulting firm, Teneo Holdings and Decision Sciences Corp., that served foreign dictators, Morris told “The Steve Malzberg Show” in an interview.
“He has no security clearance — and he had access to every single email either sent by or received by the secretary of state of the United States for four years,” Morris said. “All of it, every one of them.
A Pennsylvania native, Cooper worked first worked as an intern in the White House Office of Science and Technology before moving up to the Oval Office. He holds a bachelor’s degree from American University and a law degree from Fordham University.
According to Morris, Cooper has no expertise in safeguarding computers. He initially opened and registered Hillary Clinton’s private server — and twice suspected that the system had been hacked, according to the State Department’s report.
In one of the cases, on Jan. 9, 2011, Cooper “notified the Secretary’s Deputy Chief of Staff for Operations [Hillary Clinton aide Huma Abedin] that he had to shut down the server because he believed ‘someone was trying to hack us and while they did not get in I didn’t [sic] want to let them have the chance to,’” the report said.
In another email Cooper wrote later that day, he told Abedin that “we were attacked again so I shut [the server] down for a few min,” according to the report.
Maybe she did use a rag.
