Given it’s not really a “rally” per se, works for me staying here. That said, I don’t think we need to worry as much any longer for anti-Trump rhetoric on our threads, so it may be ok to post a separate thread that more people will see and participate in.
I don’t use google, I use bing.com for searches. In past holidays over the years, posters on FR have commented on google’s lack of patriotism on appropriate holidays as well as appropriate pictures, etc. on other holidays (again, I don’t know but I think they were using stick figures or something). Bing almost always has really nice and appropriate pictures for each holiday - I’ve often gone down to the bottom of the page and clicked feedback to let them know. Here’s the one they have for Memorial Day today, which I found very touching (perhaps even more so b/c it’s in black and white and their pictures are usually in color):

I always use bing and have for years. Google has become like coke and Kleenex. Refers to product not the actual product
DuckDuckGo is my go to now, because NO TRACKING!
Take back your privacy!
Switch to the search engine that doesn’t track you.
I haven’t used google because of privacy, bing is pretty good about privacy.
I like the pictures on bing and the ability to click on the little squares in the pictures and learn more.
My nephew and his parents used bing at home but in his computer class at school (elementary through 8th grades) they use google - I think a lot of schools are pro-google and pro open source software.
Hi NIKK,
I hated hearing about potential MIAs still being in VN and was really upset about it - the light needs to be on this and, if it’s true, they need to come home. Of course, Obummer didn’t deal with any of it when he was recently in VN.
Speaking of Vets, I totally forgot that the National Memorial Day Concert was on last night - usually try to watch it as it’s very patriotic, though often brings tears to my eyes. Gary Sinise and Joe Mantegna do a great job every year. I just checked the schedule for my local PBS channel and it looks like it’s on again here from 3-5 (Pacific Time), so those of you in the East or Mid-west want to check your local schedule (could be on 2-3 hours earlier).

Perhaps he’s drawing today’s solder’s too. The video is quite touching.
DuckDuckGo.. never heard of it but love the name. will check it out and see if DogPile is still around
YEARS ago I used DogPile.... remember “go fetch”
Thanks “Sherman” I’ll DVR it.
It’s a hard day for me. Thinking that perhaps one of my school class mates have been forgotten and left behind. Not sure it’s God’s Will we move on or forever have this piece of our heart taken. Fighting someone else’s fight and shamed over it will forever be remembered.

Hi Dolly,
I know you were working this weekend and probably missed it. I went down to our family home to do more weeding and bagging of what we trimmed/weeded as well as put down some bark so missed all of the Sunday Talk Shows yesterday. The shows had for the most part people I didn’t care to listen to, including the panels, but I wanted to hear what Corey L and Manafort had to say.
Here’s the entire Fox News Sunday broadcast - I only listened to Corey and thought he did a good job (luckily he’s up first). I’ll look for the Manafort interview on ABC, listen to that and post for those that missed it.

My dad was in VN and thankfully came home, but he wasn’t quite the same for at least a few years (he wasn’t in one of the worst areas but it was bad enough). I remember hearing/seeing stories about people spitting on these brave military personnel when they returned. I’m glad they’ve been given some recognition and honor over the past few years. It also warms my heart when I hear people for at least the past few years on planes or in airports applauding returning soldiers and/or buying them a drink or dinner when in a restaurant. When I see them in uniform around here, I always thank them for their service, just like I do police officers and firefighters (many look at little surprised then smile and say thank you).
From what I’ve read, we were almost winning VN (or had a good chance in doing so) just like Iraq and then we had POS presidents that pulled us out too soon. Huge human costs on the military, friends, family and the people living in the countries - terribly sad with all the blood and treasure that was spent and what could have been for the people in the countries for a better future.
I missed Manafort on ABC yesterday a.m. Here’s the link to his interview if anyone missed it. He does his usual good job:
