How can you legally do this? Isn’t there a rule that says you have till this certain date to be a candidate? If not, then anyone can jump into the mess right now...if it is so, is it just because its the DemonRATS that can do this, but the Republican party can’t?....Course I understand there is not a division of parties anymore hence: Hillary is running, Bush was suppose to be the RNC candidate, but he got battered so bad, they tossed Cruz in, and he’s whatever he is, just so Hillary could win...But now Trump is the RNC nominee so back to my question, how can that work?...

Well it happened before that a Vice President was replaced after the convention. It was not a successful move for the rats. http://www.npr.org/2012/08/04/157670201/the-thomas-eagleton-affair-haunts-candidates-today

I don’t know their rules, but I expect Clinton ‘voluntarily’ withdrawing for health or other reasons would be turning over her delegates to the establishment Democrat, such as Biden. That’s if it happens before their Philadelphia convention/riot. If after, when she withdraws her vice presidential pick would maybe take over.
