The Libertarian Party would be much more powerful as a caucus in the Republican Party.

I could see the Libertarian and Conservative caucuses teaming up to destroy the Progressive Establishment caucus om the Republican Party.

By staying third party they actually hurt their cause. It only empowers the Democrats.

Even better: Libertarians stay as a party. Conservatives create a Conservative Party.

Then instead of running their own obscure and non-viable candidates they agree to support one of the main party candidates, but only if they meet some minimum requirements regarding support of libertarian and/or conservative issues.

This way libertarians and conservatives won't have to financially support the Uniparty, but they can influence it by giving or denying their support to the better Uniparty candidates.

At the older end of the libertarian mob you have the one worlders/uniparty “conservatives”. At the younger end you have pinko progressives.
