This would be the same country that voted for Obama TWICE. I don’t think he’s selling the country short, he’s just recognizing that things could go horribly wrong (like they did in 2008 and 2012 for instance) and that would be devastating to our hopes. Trump is already on a roll — why risk that precious momentum? Yes, he might Crush Bernie but whenever people say “it’ll be easy” or “its a sure thing” be very careful.
There’s a good chance Hillary won’t win California. Let the two of them fight it out and destroy each other in the process.
