IMO the American flags, hand made posters etc are a result of a teachers lesson on the first amendment and what is and is NOT appropriate.

I didn’t dare do any protesting in the 60’s - my dad was a lifer in the Air Force and was in Viet Nam in mid to late 60’s - I had to behave or else.
I hadn’t thought about that, but that is very interesting - protesters at McD’s headquarters and Mr. T eating Mickey D’s food yesterday.

We didn’t protest. Just threw eggs AT the protestors. The guy I was dating had a good arm and i carried a VERY large purse !
He’s been a fan of McD’s for a while. When they analyzed his campaign expenses it looks like he feeds the whole crew on it regularly.
