The way I see it, it's not only the private emails conducting state business but the PRIVATE SERVER where the State Department nor anyone else can see her correspondence. There is only one reason to go to the effort to put a PRIVATE SERVER in your home and that's to HIDE ILLEGALITIES.
So what did she want to hide? (And it infuriates me that this seldom gets mentioned) .... the pay for play favors she granted for "speeches" (read bribes) to sell port construction, uranium mines, lucrative contracts, etc. etc. to "donors" (read bribers) - some of whom are our enemies - to her stupid foundation (read slush fund).
That is huge but the press is trying to minimize her malfeasance by referring to it as simply emails.
I think you put your finger on it. A lot of money was deposited into the Clinton foundation by entities whose business involved the State Department, especially State Department approval (Uranium One, for example). Put bluntly, evidence of open bribery. You’d have to be stupid and lazy to try that on a public email server, only slightly less so to do it on your own, and you’d need to be a lot better at it than she is to cover it up successfully if you do. Which she has not. What she’s good at is avoiding the consequences of behavior everybody knows is criminal and would put anyone but her in jail. It’s actually a pretty remarkable performance if your artistic tastes run to criminality.
Hillary used her private server like eBay - all the stuff for sale went onto the private server with the proceeds ( winning bids ) laundered through the “ “Clinton Charitable Trust” - watch out Chels. . . . Get the paper shredder warmed up
I don’t understand hot the former “Clinton Foundation”, now the “Bill, Hillary and Chelsea Clinton Foundation”, is not enough to send them all to prison. Just putting Chelsea on the payroll was criminal.
