Thursday on MSNBCs Morning Joe, NBC chief Washington correspondent Andrea Mitchell reacted to a State Department Inspector General report criticizing Hillary Clinton for her use of a private email server while she was serving as President Barack Obamas secretary of state.
Mitchell first dismissed the Clinton campaigns defense, comparing Clintons behavior to that of her predecessor former Secretary of State Colin Powell and then declared the report to be hard to be seen as anything but devastating.
It was not allowed to not return those records before she left the State Department, Mitchell said. She violated the official records act according to her own State Department IG appointed by President Obama. What you have shown just now, Mika, it completely undercuts the argument shes been making for more than a year just as shes trying to persuade voters shes untrustworthy. I think the most surprising and shocking thing is their reaction. Claiming this is the same as what former secretaries did, comparison to Colin Powell. The facts are Colin Powell was the first secretary of state to ever use email. He used it specifically to try to launch the State Department into the new century and try to get people to communicate by email.
He was using it by example, she continued. He did use personal emails. He didnt always separate them, but it was completely aboveboard everybody in the State Department knew what he was doing. It was not, in fact, violating a rule that was put in place under Clinton, not after she left It was put in place under Clinton and she was warned before hand of decades of this records act that prohibits you to leave the State Department, to leave any agency and not turn over your records.

ok I don’t want to be toooo optimistic... the MSM + Demagogues have found ways to pull off so much b.s. in the past.... but I am getting very hopeful for Trump2016!
How are they going to take it from her? She will have the delegates.
Hillary deserves this. In fact, even having an election is sexist.
The servers weren’t kept in her bathroom, but of her shady ISP.
“She was trying to evade the Freedom of Information Act by using private email addresses maintained on private email servers kept in her bathroom. In the process, she grossly compromised national security, thus compounding her original felony.”
That nails it - thanks. So she could get away with things like, say, selling favors for the Clinton Foundation if she wanted to.
I’m not sure I get this. How were you effected?
There is something going on here. It’s one of two things. 1) Either the media is jumping all over this now, so once she is the nominee they can say this is all water under the bridge. Or 2)She is going to be absolved of all blame and the media will cry out in joy how courageous Hilarity was to have to defend herself against these false charges. Led of course by Donald Trump.
This is all an act. There is no way the rats are deserting the Clinton ship. It’s all being coordinated from Americans for Progress and those journolistas.
This might be worse than Benghazi if it is found that her server was hacked. This would make it a crime of epic damage.
The State Department's report was devastating, which I believe is an indicator that the FBI’s report will be even tougher and the DOJ will indict. I suspect that the MSM has figured out that HRC may be indicted and will have to withdraw.
They take it from her by the super delegates changing over to Bernie!!!!
hmm, that would be cool, yes...
So does this mean that Andrea Mitchell won’t support and vote for Hillary come the fall? Didn’t think so....
“Hey, if you give me a half million for a 42 minute ‘speech’ I’ll give you my email address...”
/bingo
Besides illegally setting up her own server, she also was either too stupid to remember a password, or she WANTED foreign powers to be able to access her files.
Evil, stupid and bungling often go together. Obama is a good example though he can be clever and conniving, same as Hillary.
