The civic tone is going to be vastly different.
Trump by himself is not the whole picture that America needs, of course. America (in its private sphere) needs to embrace God. It’s a nuisance (in a sense) that Uncle Sam can’t be our godfather, but the bible never asked him to, either.
You know, I've given this a LOT of thought, and done a fair amount of studying, from II Chronicles to the stories of the men - sinful, in some cases, downright evil men - that God chose to lead His people, and I can't help but ask, is Trump God's answer at this point in our Country?
There will be plenty that will poo poo this thought, but I can't help but think about how it took Saul being blinded on the road to Damascus before he turned away from hunting down and slaughtering Christians, and how David led Israel so strongly, while allowing the flesh to get the best of him, and how Noah, even after taking one of the strongest stands in faith, still couldn't resist the drink.
Is Trump perfect? No, not by any stretch of the imagination. But Christians across the Nation have been praying, humbling themselves, and doing their own best to turn from their wicked ways. I hope and pray that He has heard, and is sending Trump to deliver the land.
