Morning SC, thanks for that bit of info....

Ken Starr played a major role in Bill Clinton's impeachment:

"Starr was initially appointed to investigate the suicide death of deputy White House counsel Vince Foster and the Whitewater real estate investments of Bill Clinton. The three-judge panel charged with administering the Independent Counsel Act later expanded the inquiry into numerous areas including an extramarital affair that Bill Clinton had with Monica Lewinsky. After several years of investigation, Starr filed the Starr Report, which alleged that Bill Clinton had lied about the existence of the affair during a sworn deposition. The allegation opened the door for the impeachment of Bill Clinton and the five-year suspension of Clinton's law license."

Yes, I recall seeing the reporters film Starr walk out of the house every a.m. and follow him around as they could when he was investigating Bubba.

I just went on Rush’s website (don’t listen to him any more but do check his website and read some of the transcripts from time to time). He apparently spoke about Starr yesterday, which I find interesting.

“But now, now the New York Times comes to praise Ken Starr. This is Starr being quoted about Clinton. “’His genuine empathy for human beings is absolutely clear,’ Starr said of Clinton during a panel discussion at the National Constitution Center in Philadelphia. ‘It is powerful, it is palpable and the folks of Arkansas really understood that about him — that he genuinely cared. The “I feel your pain” is absolutely genuine. President Clinton was and perhaps still is the most gifted politician of the baby boomer generation. He just has remarkable gifts.””

The things about Starr aside, I think that’s one of the things that helped Bill “I feel your pain” - IMHO very few, if any, think that Hillary can pull that off, I don’t think she feels anyone’s pain, nor does she truly care if anyone is in pain b/c it’s all about Hillary for her.
