I have been baffled for years why more Hispanics do not understand this... If you are a low skilled low educated worker (not racist, just statistically) why would you want more competition for those kind of jobs? It either suppresses your wage or someone replaces you for .25 an hour less. I guess the lack of education and forethought part explains that... still you would think they would have woken up by now.

This statement suggests to me, that Mexicans are somewhat more intelligent than American citizens. Especially those Americans of the Liberal variety.
