Why do nevertrump clowns claim to be conservatives, let alone hardline conservatives is beyond me? Is McCain a conservative? Bush? Is liberal Romney, grandfather of Obamacare, a conservative? Is lyin’ Ted a conservative or a snake in the grass?
I remember the 1st Reagan win. We were told the race was a dead heat too close to call. He lost Minnesota and DC. So we shall see.

How can any of the other candidates... old and old... compare to the enthusiasm Trump brings to the table. He can afford to do more and he thinks of things to do that are splashy and the media can’t resist following him everywhere he goes. Whether they like to admit it or not.. this election would have been so boring if not for The Donald!
No, the problem is legions of paid trolls who post self-contradictory statements out of meme books hoping something will stick.

The solution is to win in a landslide and thereby overcome the limitations of the corruption mechanism. Trump is in the process of doing that, because he’s well aware of the problem. As a billionaire he has access to enormous amounts of studied information. So he knows the margins he has to achieve, and whether they are likely to be reached.
The only question about Trump, therefore, is whether he’s actually running to win. So far, he seems that he is. Therefore he believes he CAN win, based on his privileged information. And since he’s a really, really bad loser, the fact that he’s still slugging it out is a good sign.
Remember, he IS one of those billionaires who control the world. He knows how they think and what they’ll do. And they know him.
It’s a dinosaur fight.
It will take a landslide to overcome the massive voter fraud on the left.
Ain't nobody on this forum staying home, and as for hard-line conservatives, Trump's policy positions are more conservative than any GOP nominee since Ronald Reagan!
Anybody so-called conservative who stays home for this election is a traitor to conservatism, and no conservative.
Bitter former Ted Cruz supporters would do well to remember that Cruz's and Trump's policy positions were extremely similar, with the notable exception of Ted Cruz having voted for the Corker Bill, and also having voted to give TPA (trade promotion authority) to the 0bama administration (!). Neither of those actions by Cruz can be remotely considered "conservative".

LOL, why, you're welcome. And I in turn apologize for my troll detector going off prematurely. Hillary announced she spent a million bucks on internet trolls, and you can see hordes of them on any Clinton thread spewing FUD. So I'm a bit irritated with all the bug stomping necessary these days.
Anyway, when thinking about Trump, remember that his money means he's good at winning in the real world - as it really is, not as people want it to be. Sun Tzu said: "The good fighters of old first put themselves beyond the possibility of defeat, and then waited for an opportunity of defeating the enemy." Likewise, Trump wouldn't be running if he hadn't already calculated that he already won. He's NOT a politician - he's not HOPING people agree with him. He's already calculated it.
That's why anyone who doesn't recognize "The Apprentice" for the decade-long presidential campaign it really was, still doesn't get The Donald.
